NYFW | (EX)TEASY LINGERIE x KIR | ART & FASHION REVOLUTIONARY COLLABORATION

The collaboration of “new format” art and fashion runway show made by  (EX)TEASY lingerie and artist Sergey KIR was helded at an NYFW 2023 presenting Spring/Summer 24 collection powered by Runway7 on September 7th, 2023, at Sony Hall, the show presented profound significance beyond the fusion of art and fashion. Together,

they aimed to break the standard mold of "typical" runway shows and instead focus on promoting the profound impact of art on one's life while fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts, empowering woman, and dedicated to Ukraine.

In an industry often criticized for objectifying women, this runway show sought to challenge the status quo and provide a robust solution through art. By combining the worlds of art and fashion, the event aimed to combat the sexual objectification of women, offering a fresh perspective and a platform for empowerment.

The collaboration of artworks and lingerie garments throughout the NYFW show was a powerful solution to combat the sexual objectification of women through art. By merging and associating art with our lives, we empower women to reclaim their narratives and challenge harmful norms, establishing their identity.

Through this runway show, founders of (Ex)teasy Lingerie - Lera Nikitina and Valeriia Yamshchykova aimed to highlight the strength and courage of Ukrainian women, who have grown stronger and are fighting for their freedom. By merging art, fashion, and powerful music - the re-mix song written by talented DJ and music producer

Katarina Dariy of Tina Karol song “Vila” which translates as “Freedom”, became a powerful symbol of empowerment and solidarity.

Unlike traditional fashion shows, this event resembled an art exhibition, where paintings took center stage. Attendees were treated to an immersive experience where they could appreciate the beauty and creativity of both the artwork and the lingerie designs. The fusion of these two art forms created a visually stunning and

thought-provoking atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. The runway show served as a reminder that art has the power to transcend boundaries and challenge societal norms. By showcasing lingerie designs alongside captivating paintings, the event aimed to redefine the perception of women's bodies and

celebrate their beauty in a more inclusive and empowering way.

Through this collaboration, Sergei KIR and (EX)TEASY lingerie aimed to inspire a deeper appreciation for the arts and encourage individuals to view fashion as a form of artistic expression. By breaking away from the conventional runway show format, they successfully created a platform that showcased their designs and
